I am so happy you decided to come check me out here, literally! So let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Raquel Lake and I am a writer / director and artistic consultant. I am an artist in every sense of the word. I love all things art and most importantly expression. My preferred means of expressing myself  is creatively through writing and my medium... words. And yes like this bio (in first person not third) I am the sheriff in these parts so, I am doing things my way. Hey, I'm an artist!

On this site you will get to read my Blog where I will talk about my views on race, being a woman, being a mother, marriage, divorce and just being alive.

In Writing I will share cool short stories about all kinds of women. Sometimes about awesome chicks kicking butt on a distant planet while falling in love with an exotic alien man with green skin and nice eyes (shout out to Captain Kirk!)
